The ABD Academy has placed 841 high school Baseball players in college and is now offering its’ Guaranteed placement services to high school softball players for the first time. 100% NCAA legal with an 89.7% success rate

The ABD Baseball Academy has announced it is launching a new college “softball” scholarship service.  Long recognized as a leader in Amateur Baseball Development, the ABD Academy is expanding its’ services to offer high school softball players the same college placement services that are in place for its’ high school baseball players. “It just seems like a natural progression for us to help young ladies as well as young men in achieving their dreams of playing college ball, says Randy Curtis, Director of The ABD Academy.

Established in 1994, by the late Mike Spiers, The ABD Academy has a rich history of developing some of the best players in baseball today like Nolan Arenado, Christian Yellich and Anthony Rizzo. In all, ABD has helped 28 players reach the Major Leagues with four (4) players winning World Series Titles (Alan Craig with the Cardinals, Anthony Rizzo with the Cubs, Bobby Keilty with Boston and Greg Dobbs with the Phillies).

According to Field Level, a college recruiting platform used by many college coaches to communicate with high school and travel coaches, The ABD program has placed an astounding 341 high school baseball players in college programs over the past 10 years. “Thats a big number and we are proud of it, but that’s just one platform we use and in the 1990’s and the early 2000’s we didn’t keep track of the amount of players that went on to play college baseball from our program. I think it’s got to be well over 1,000 players at this point but the number is not important”, adds Randy.

The ABD Academy is based in Southern California and offers college recruiting as well as develops High School “Prep” baseball players with State-of-the-Art analytic training systems including: K-Vest, Rapsodo Baseball, Blast Motion, Halo Sport and Driveline TRAQ technology.
