Virtual Brain Health Center Is Set to Change the Way Brain Health Services Are Offered to Adults, Caregivers, And Providers
Virtual Brain Health Center is now open to make the brain health services accessible to more adults, families, caregivers, and providers.

United States – October 28, 2020 – COVID-19 has disproportionately impacted the brain health of already vulnerable populations – aging adults, carers, and individuals with dementia- as shown by current data trends. Providers of community-based services and long-term care are amongst the worst impacted as they grapple with social care service provision during a global pandemic.

In these challenging times, the Virtual Brain Health Center’s launch aims to offer a practical solution to the communities by addressing brain health, memory care, and wellness programs. Driven by the vision to provide purpose for brain health optimization, the Virtual Brain Health Center promises to offer practical solutions that augment brain wellness through online services. The center will be offering virtual brain-based classes, healthy brain check-ups, and other resources in conjunction with cutting edge technologies to support brain health optimization either at home or on-the-go.

Virtual Brain Health Center has been founded by Dr. Krystal L. Culler, DBH, M.A., a Senior Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health with the Global Brain Health Institute. Since completing her residency training at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, Krystal has continued to serve her local community of Northeast Ohio, with an unwavering commitment towards promoting brain health equity to the communities she serves.

The leadership group at Virtual Brain Health Center comprises of Patricia Faust, MGS, CAt, LeAnne Stuver, M.Ed., BSN, and Dr. Culler, who have a combined experience of 70+ years in health, brain wellness, and memory care programs and services for aging adults. The startup funding for this organization has been provided by the Atlantic Institute, Rhodes House, Oxford, England.

During the launch, Dr. Krystal, the brain behind this noble initiative, was quoted as saying, “I am thrilled to announce the opening of the Virtual Brain Health Center. After chatting with my colleagues, we wanted to pull together our cumulative experiences, knowledge, skills, and resources to offer a practical solution to the communities we serve. Virtual Brain Health Center is a result of our combined efforts and is driven by our vision to change the way brain health services are offered to adults, caregivers, and providers. Ultimately, I envision a time – when information and services regarding brain health are more easily accessible to adults and caregivers and information is not siloed.”

Virtual Brain Health Center aims to become a one-stop-shop for individuals and caregivers who require assistance with their brain health in order to ensure their well-being.
