With over a decade of achievements in his specialty, Dr. Stanislav Avshalumov, MD has been meritoriously named a “Physician of the Year” for 2021 and serves as a Top Patient Preferred Orthopedic Surgeon representing the state of New York.

He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Peninsula Hospital Center, and completed his fellowship training in Joint Preservation, Resurfacing, and Replacement at Washington University Barnes Jewish Hospital, 2009, during which he participated in over 750 joint surgeries.
Well-versed in the latest procedures in his field, Dr. Avshalumov maintains professional memberships with the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. He is affiliated with Franklin Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, St. Joseph Hospital and Syosset Hospital; and is fluent in English, Hebrew, Russian and Spanish.
