These books teach children important values they can carry with them into adulthood.

Authors Press announces author Janice Ramos Tingley’s inspiring new children’s books, “Nolan’s Dream” and “Nolan’s Monsters.”

In “Nolan’s Dream,” two young children with different disabilities find each other and, along with this fateful meeting, find comfort and the strength to overcome their individual challenges. This is a charming story about the importance of perseverance. The book blends the power of love and determination with the courage and optimism of children who are coping with being different.

“Nolan’s Dream” was born because of Tingley’s strong belief that anything is possible with faith, determination and patience. She feels that if individuals devote enough time and energy and if they refuse to be distracted and intimidated by limiting thoughts, they will make significant achievements and find personal fulfillment and happiness.

Pleased reader Chief D has this to say about “Nolan’s Dream”: “Definitely a bestseller for children of all ages. Gives hope to children [who are] facing physical challenges, struggles and overcoming obstacles.”

“Nolan’s Monsters” is a book richly illustrated by the author herself. It is a charming story about a little boy named Nolan. When he wakes up in the middle of the night, he would imagine five little monsters jumping on his bed. He would use his imagination to cope with his fear of sleeping alone, using shapes and counting numbers.

Reader O’Connell reviewed, “This book is a brilliant idea. It’s inspiring and fun for interactive learning for ages one to nine. I also love the pictures, shapes and numbers on the monsters.”

Author Tingley grew up with two severe learning disabilities called dyscalculia and dyslexia. She yearned to be just like her well-educated and accomplished family members, but because of her disabilities, she was bullied, teased and told that she would never be successful in life.

“Since I was eight years old, I’ve always wanted to write and illustrate children’s books so that I can inspire and make a difference in this world. I hope to teach young children the power of mentoring a friend in need, instead of making fun of them because of their differences,” stated Tingley. “When we respect one another, we learn from each other. Together we can walk hand in hand and make a difference in this world that will last a lifetime and for generations to come.”

Writing and illustrating are Tingley’s passions, and her goal is to become a motivational speaker, role model and mentor. She was raised in Fairfield, California, but now lives in Union City, Pennsylvania with her husband and two kids.

“Nolan’s Dream” and “Nolan’s Monsters” are available at Authors Press, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other online book retailers. More information can be found at https://nolansmonstersbookproduction.com/.
