iPondr announced today the introduction of a new Board of Advisors. The five advisors bring their collective skills and expertise to provide guidance and direction to the company’s executive team as it continues to grow as a leader in the Media, Technology and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion industries.

Minneapolis, MN – April 20, 2021 – Joining the newly established Board is Amelia Hardy, Dana Mortenson, Dr. Ravi Bapna, James Ganley and Clayton McIlrath.

About Amelia Hardy 

Amelia Hardy is Vice President of Inclusion and Diversity at Best Buy Co. Inc. She leads a team that is creating the strategy for an inclusive culture that supports employees, customers and the community. She also oversees initiatives aimed at increasing the presence of products and services acquired from minority-owned businesses and partnering with other organizations to eradicate racial and social disparities in underrepresented communities.

Amelia has more than 20 years of experience in transformational leadership at Fortune 100 companies, primarily within marketing and business development. Before joining Best Buy in 2014, she spent 14 years at 3M Co.

About Dana Mortenson 

Dana Mortenson is the Co-Founder and CEO of World Savvy, a national education nonprofit working to educate and engage youth as responsible global citizens. World Savvy supports change agents in K-12 education to create more inclusive, adaptive schools that ensure all young people can develop the skills and dispositions needed to thrive in a more diverse, interconnected world. 

Dana is an Ashoka Fellow, was named one of The New Leaders Council’s 40 under 40 Progressive American Leaders, and was winner of the Tides Foundation’s Jane Bagley Lehman award for excellence in public advocacy in 2014. 

About Dr. Ravi Bapna 

Dr. Ravi Bapna is the Curtis L. Carlson Chair in Business Analytics and Information Systems at the Carlson School of Management where he also serves as the Associate Dean for Executive Education and Academic Director of the Carlson Analytics Lab and the Analytics for Good Institute. He has been awarded the INFORMS ISS Distinguished Fellow award and the INFORMS ISS Inaugural Practical Impacts Award. He was the founding director of the University of Minnesota’s Social Media and Business Analytics Collaborative (SOBACO). He teaches graduate students, executives, CIOs, and CMOs how to leverage analytics and the broader digital revolution for competitive advantage. 

About James Ganley 

James Ganley is a Managing Principal and member of the Investment Committee for CarVal Investors. He is responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy and management, as well as distressed corporate credit investments in the U.S. and Europe. In addition, he leads risk and portfolio management across CarVal’s credit funds and investments globally. Prior to joining CarVal in 2009, Mr. Ganley was a managing director for the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs in Europe where he focused primarily on corporate credit investments including distressed credit, high-yield credit, event-driven investing and liquidations.

About Clayton McIlrath 

Clay McIlrath is the Founder of Unicorn, a tech consultancy working with the world’s top companies to solve technology’s most difficult problems. He also serves as Chief Technologist-in-Residence at iPondr. Coming from a long line of successful startups and exits, Clay lives and breathes startup culture. He has been a thought leader in software engineering for 15 years as both an individual and co-founder and has worked for some of the biggest names in tech: Google, Samsung, Facebook, and Comcast.
