Badalia Publishing is pleased to announce the release of their new book, ‘Memories of the Khassos’ by Leah Flaherty. The two hundred and fifty-six-paged book is now available for sale on every book selling platform as paperbacks, hardcovers and ebooks. The book blends elements of Science Fiction and Fantasy in an action packed fast-paced introduction to a sprawling universe. Leah Flaherty writes about the people of Anatan who lost their home and their means to create a new one. Unfortunately, the one person who could solve this problem doesn’t remember who or what she is. Flaherty reveals that with more than one civilization hanging in the balance, an Anatani criminal may be their last hope. When the ancient beings of Anatan get involved, powers old and new collide in a cataclysmic showdown.

Leah Flaherty, born in Wisconsin but currently living in North Carolina, is someone who is fascinated by all things celestial. She became intrigued with the concept of quantum entanglement while watching an episode of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey which inspired her to write a short poem of an epic story of love and loss. This short poem grew into a more immersive world filled with the characters that shaped it, which would eventually evolve into Memories of the Khassos.

On May 4, 2021, Leah revealed the cover for Memories of the Khassos. She ended up choosing the cover design because it reminded her of the science fiction version of a Rorschach. She said the more she looked at it, the more she saw hidden within. Leah Flaherty reveals she has always been an avid reader, but truly began to enjoy reading when she became immersed in the fantasy world of The Wheel of Time series created by Robert Jordan. Her love for the genre and storytelling would begin there. A review by Robin S. Monkman described the book as very well written with a great concept. She also likened it to a jigsaw puzzle in which one can only see the picture as the pieces come together.
