Jamie Thayer, Co-Owner of Glow Sculpting Spa was inspired to start the “Erase the Hate” campaign, in which they removes racist, hate & gang related tattoos for free.

“We feel strongly that tattoos of this nature need to be erased. We feel that if someone has turned their life around and denounces what they represent, we need to give them a shot to start fresh and not wear their mistakes on their faces and hands. That’s where you see a lot of these tattoos. We feel that if every one of us wore our mistakes on our faces and our bodies, we would all look a lot different,” stated Thayer.

Aside from Erase the Hate, Glow also offers other outreach programs using laser tattoo removal. The laser spa has partnered with their local women’s shelter to do free removal for domestic violence survivors. That has led them to involvement with their areas Task Force Against Human Trafficking, where they signed on as a survivor support resource. They are currently the only laser resource in the state that provide this support for human trafficking victims for free.

“Our philosophy is to treat everyone with kindness, allow people to have second chances and, most importantly, not judge appearances,” Thayer further added.
