Ascend Integrated Announces New CTO to Drive Innovation
Ascend Integrated, a leading DevOps and DevSecOps solution provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Hunt as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
The move reflects the company’s commitment to delivering customizable and scalable agile solutions that help organizations manage their development and operations.
Mr. Hunt was previously the Lead Atlassian Expert for Ascend and led multiple initiatives that shaped company progress. “The CTO title is an overdue formalization of a role James Hunt was already filling,” said COO Shaun Jones, “We are positioning Mr. Hunt to have better leverage in managing our technology stack and the management of our client tool/solutions delivery.” Mr. Hunt’s dedication to his role strengthens the foundations of the teams that he works with. CEO Mike Brown explained “Mr. Hunt has proven time and time again his expertise in technology and willingness in helping us to define corporate strategy and culture. ABOUT JAMES HUNT
Mr. Hunt served in the United States Army from 1999 – 2004, he achieved the rank of Sergeant (E5) while specializing as a Signal Intelligence Analyst and Linguist. After his time in the service, he went on to become a software developer for L3 Communications from 2004 – 2009. For the next nine years Mr. Hunt worked with Agency Consulting group, ASRC Federal as a Principal Systems Architect. In 2020 Mr. Hunt joined Ascend Integrated as a Systems Architect and he has continually provided integral solutions to complex issues. The experiences throughout his career have honed Mr. Hunt’s skills for this role, and we look forward to a future of his continued success as the CTO of Ascend.
