Westlake vs. Creekside joins East St. Louis – DeSmet on SUVtv &HBCU League Pass This Weekend

ATLANTA, GA – September 1, 2021 – Today, HBCU League Pass and SUVtv announced that this week’s rivalry matchup between Westlake High School and Creekside High School will stream live & on demand on the SUVtv Football and HBCU League Pass platforms. The matchup between the two storied Fulton County programs, Westlake and Creekside, will kick off on Friday, September 3 at 7:30pm ET in Fairburn, Georgia. The Friday night lights in Georgia will be followed by an interstate matchup on Saturday. On September 4 at 8pm ET/7pm CT,  Illinois and Missouri powers will collide as East. St. Louis takes on DeSmet on a live broadcast produced by SUVtv in partnership with Elite Amateur Sports.

As part of a first-of-its-kind FREE offering, HBCU League Pass will feature live & on-demand HBCU sports content available 24/7. The platform’s collaboration with SUVtv will bring an intriguing lineup of live broadcasts and original content that features HBCU, grassroots, and high school sports coverage from across the country. Westlake will come into Friday night’s game with a 2-0 record with wins against Archer (29-14) at home and Colquitt County (31-24) on the road. Creekside enters the contest at 1-0 after a 19-14 win on the road against the nationally ranked Grayson Rams (GA). Last season’s matchup between the Westlake Lions and the Creekside Seminoles resulted in a 27-7 Westlake win.  Each program has featured a pipeline of talent on both sides of the ball over the years – with NFL talents that include Westlake alum, Cam Newton, and Creekside alum, Eric Berry.

Games will be selected on an ongoing basis as a result of nominations and fan voting to ensure a unique slate of games selected by the fans and for the fans – from HBCUs to high school.
